Romidot Inspection Systems for Aluminium Profiles

Romidot Ltd provide solutions for the inspection and measurement of profile geometry in aluminium extrusion plants.

More than 450 Romidot systems are installed in this industry for inspection and measurement near the press, in the inspection room or die correction shop.

Romishape AL and DTsystems are are bidimensional measurement systems using a line CCD camera to scan the section and to create an accurate 2D image of the section. The software enables direct comparison with the original CAD drawing and the preparation of full dimensional reports. No focusing, positioning,or special orientation is required. Multiple samples can be scanned simultaneously.

Vision H300 is the new concept for profile inspection in a production environment. The Vision H300  uses camera technology with a Tele-centric optical lens.The large diameter lens allows a single snap shot to  acquire the whole cross section of the profile. Image processing and the production of full dimensional programs is extremely fast.

The machine is constructed for continuous operation in harsh production conditions and includes a granite slab as a base for the optical construction.

Sample preparation is simple eliminating any sensitivity to sample condition or operator variance.

The system has high accuracy and repeatability ensuring compatibilty with tight tolerances and complex dimensions.
